I’ve been involved in competitive sport for most of my life and have been competing in Triathlon and Quadrathlon (Tri +kayak) including several Ironman distances for 25yrs. I am now in my 60’s and still loving the challenges that Mountain Ultra Races throw at me.
The key to keeping going all these years is consistency and more importantly, training well, feeding the body, and looking after my muscles and joints.
This is where Jo has become a great support, especially over the last few years. Having regular massages to iron out those niggles is so important. Jo also gives ‘bespoke’ exercise programs to ensure you strengthen and stretch those muscles which may be showing signs of weakness or injury. She teaches weekly classes, which are excellent if you are in your rehab phase, but also ideal for maintaining body alignment and mobility.
Whatever level of fitness you are, Jo has a wealth of knowledge and lots of empathy to enable you to get back on track.
By keeping consistent with regular input from Jo, I'm confident I can keep chasing my goals and pushing those boundaries for many more years to come!
